External Affairs

Christine Lollar brings nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, grant development, strategic partnerships, philanthropy, and communications to her role as Executive Director of External Affairs for Casa Esperanza.

A lifelong Kern County resident, Christine has worked with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, healthcare providers, and community partners to develop programs and secure funding supporting healthcare, behavioral health, housing, workforce development, and education.

Most recently, Christine served as Regional Grant Director for a local health system, where she led grant strategy and funding initiatives across multiple hospitals. Her previous experience includes serving as Director of Homelessness Resources for the local Continuum of Care and as Grant Services Manager for The Open Door Network, where she worked with programs serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence.

Over the course of her career, Christine has led and contributed to grant and philanthropic funding efforts totaling more than $460 million. At Casa Esperanza, she will focus that experience on fund development, community partnerships, communications, and expanding the resources available to support the organization’s mission.

Christine earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Fresno Pacific University and holds a Grants Management Specialist certification through the National Grant Management Association.

Outside of her professional work, Christine’s greatest joy is her family. She and her husband have four children, eight grandsons, and one granddaughter.
